The Edible Story is the culinary baby of Alanna Fleischer and Brian Cheng. Friends from culinary school, their dream was to open a modern kitchen, catering business and cooking school in the heart of downtown Toronto.
The Edible Story caters to all types of corporate and personal events, customizing food adventures using fresh ingredients and plated in memorable presentations. Their approach is hands-on and aims to make cooking and entertaining “approachable.” In-house parties for bridal showers, birthdays, bachelorette parties and corporate events can be catered fully or can center around a cooking class.
“Our personalized menus go far beyond your typical dinner fare,” says head chef and owner, Alanna Fleischer. “This is a new epicurean experience for the city. We will cater your event in your own space, or come to ours! We work with clients to create the perfect menu, and then concoct a fantastic food experience – there are no limits to what The Edible Story can do.”
